New Works by Northwest Master William Cumming Thru August 31st, 2009 "I paint people in combinations that allow viewers to erect stories around people-situations: that I put them into a simple design of negative-positive shapes: that identities (people, things, animals, space) are resolved into simple shapes; that it is all woven together in a web of color and shape.
